FAQ's
Why is it not my fault?
In order to answer this question I need to explain a bit more about the different parts of the mind.
Think of your mind like an iceberg floating in the water. The part you can see above the surface is the Conscious Mind, and the huge part below the water is the Subconscious Mind.
The Conscious Mind uses your senses like taste, touch, smell, sight, and hearing to take in information from the world. It thinks logically and makes sense of things based on your experiences and what you believe. Once it figures things out, it sends this information to the Subconscious Mind as memories. These memories join the stuff that was already there when you were born.
The Subconscious Mind's main job is to keep you safe. It takes care of important things like your heartbeat, blood pressure, and breathing—things you don't have to consciously think about to stay alive.
Now, here's the tricky part: If in the past you learned something based on not having all the facts, and you stored it in your Subconscious Mind as if it's true, it can affect your decisions in the future. These stored ideas are called "limiting beliefs." So, even if you consciously want to achieve something, your Subconscious Mind might think it's not safe based on those old beliefs. And when that happens, it can automatically block your conscious intentions.

So what is hypnotherapy, and how does it work?
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that uses guided relaxation and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness, often referred to as a trance. In this state, the mind becomes more open to positive suggestions and insights, facilitating personal growth and behavior change.
Is hypnotherapy safe?
Yes, hypnotherapy is generally considered safe when conducted by a trained and certified hypnotherapist. It is a collaborative process, and you remain in control throughout the session.

What can hypnotherapy help with?
Hypnotherapy can be effective for a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, phobias, weight management, sleep disorders, and more. I love guiding my clients to a life they love and improving overall well-being. For those whom, for their personal reasons aren't comfortable with a modality that works on a subconscious bases, but who have had limited success with (conscious) talk therapy, I now offer an amazing new technique called Root Cause Therapy. Read more about that here.

Do you have an alternative to being in a state of hypnonis?
Absolutely. Not everybody is comfortable to being in a state of hypnosis and I honour their thoughts and feelings about that . It has taken me some time and a lot of reseach to find a modality which, in my opinion, is as effective and gentle as my approach to hypnotherapy. The technique is called Root-Cause Therapy and I am so excited to offer this to my clients.
What is Root-Cause Therapy?
Root-Cause Therapy is an emotion focussed therapy which uses guided meditation, regression and future projection to get to the root cause and heal any current symptom taking us away from being naturally peaceful
With advanced ways of testing and discovering the actual causation of the currently presenting unease within oneself, we find the actual cause which could be reflecting itself through negative life patterns, thoughts and choices.
A qualified practitioner facilitates the client to tap into the self-healing mechanisms of the deeper parts of their mind in an empowering safe container, whilst still conscious and awake.
Each session with an RCT therapist is structured in such a way that they can help prioritise and work through life-long symptoms and past hurts in a gentle yet thorough way.

What makes Root-Cause Therapy different from Hypnotherapy or Talk Therapy?
Unlike hypnosis, which - for some people - can create a fear of lack of control and unlike talk therapy which, for some can anchor them in to their problem rather their desired outcome, this type of healing creates a space for you to unravel why you do, think or feel the way you do - and discover and shift any unwanted patterns consciously, with you in the driving seat along with the knowledge and guidance of your therapist.
Root-Cause Therapy is done on a conscious basis instead of a state of relaxation on a subconscious basis.
Both thechniques are highly effective, but like everything else in life, there is not a 'one solution for everything' approach. We all have different needs, wants and approaches we respond to most positively.
One of the most commonly asked questions is whether delving into old trauma is necessary for progress. Many individuals express concerns about potentially opening up difficult emotional experiences, often describing it as "opening a can of worms."
Over my 10+ years of practicing hypnotherapy, I've shifted away from the traditional approach of revisiting and reframing past traumas. Instead, my focus is on guiding clients toward their desired reality and addressing any resistance they may have to achieving their goals. Rather than dwelling on the past or emphasizing perceived shortcomings, I work collaboratively with clients to identify what they truly want in life. The aim is to connect with the feeling of that goal and help them release barriers that stand between their current situation and the reality they wish to manifest.

This method underscores immersing oneself in the sensation (feeling) of the desired outcome at present and demonstrating to the Subconscious Mind the new programming you've chosen. Visualization plays a key role, emphasizing the idea that you need to see it before you can truly be it.
So, if you are ready to be the creator of your own destiny, I am ready to help you get there.
